What is a payment Gateway?
An online Payment Gateway facilitates the transfer of information between your consumer and you as the Merchant. The online Payment Gateway will authorise or decline a card payment based on sufficient funds available, correct details and any fraudulent activity. In order to check these details, the Payment Gateway will liaise with the Card Schemes and Issuing Banks reporting back with its findings and relevant transaction response.
Transaction & Reporting:
The Merchant Management System is designed to provide real time transaction information generated from the Payment Gateway transactions. The reports include all historical transaction information & detailed transaction receipts. Transaction reports can be downloaded in .csv format for ease of accountancy and reconciliation. The MMS can be searched and sorted by a number of different criteria including dates, amounts, authorisations, declines, customer names. Access to the online portal is free and users can be set up with multiple levels of access, enabling sales clerk rights through to full administration permissions.
The Merchant Management System is a powerful tool that enables the Merchant to monitor all transactions that pass through the Cyprium Gateway. The system provides the Merchant with access to various reports including account invoices, transaction history and transaction summaries at no extra cost to subscribing Merchants.
